This compilation is a list of trade organizations, associations, and professional societies related to the educational and professional communities of engineering and engineering technology. The organizations are in alphabetical order based on the org anization's name, and, where known, contains the mailing address, telephone number and internet address.

Upon graduating from college and finding professional employment it is not unusual for a technical graduate to cross discipline boundaries as part of his/her typical job assignments. When faced with trying to solve a problem outside one's discipline, it is the rare individual who instinctively knows the process that leads to a satisfactory solution. Frequently, the employee does not even know where to seek the information needed to begin the process. This list has been developed to fill this void. T he list can be used by practicing professionals as a means of identifying who might be contacted for information on relevant technical subjects.
