Koukos, Antonis
Since 1995 he is a member of the
teaching faculty of the Technological Educational Institutions of Piraeus,
Greece (1995-1996) and Chalkis, Greece (1995 up-to-date) respectively. He
has taught electronics, microcomputers, digital systems, computer networks,
data transfer systems and, artificial intelligence.
Mr.
Koukos has been cooperating with Planning S.A., Apotelesma S.A. and other
engineering and consulting firms since 1995. He worked in various research
and development projects for National Technical University of Athens
(1990-1992). Among the significant projects he has worked for, is the
project of informatics and telecommunications infrastructure development of
the Agricultural University of Athens (1997).
His research interest include
electronics, VLSI systems, telecommunications systems, ATM Networks traffic
and flow control, www based services, artificial intelligence applications
and, decision support systems.
Mr. Koukos is a member of the Technical Chamber of Greece (TCG) as well as member of other associations and scientific committees.
Kitto, Kathleen L.
Kathleen L. Kitto is a Professor in and Chair of the Engineering Technology Department at Western Washington University. Since arriving at Western Washington University in 1988 her primary teaching areas have been in the Manufacturing Engineering Technology program and her research interests have been in the development of devices for the differently-abled and in finite element analysis of complex components. She received both her MS and BS degrees from the University of Montana/Montana Tech and previously worked for many years in industry primarily developing instrumentation systems and advanced materials.
McKell, Eric K.
Eric K. McKell is an Assistant Professor and Program Coordinator of Manufacturing Engineering Technology at Western Washington University. He received a B.S. in MET in 1992 and M.S. in Manufacturing Engineering in 1997, both from Brigham Young University. His teaching interests are in CNC machining, Tool design, parametric modeling, and collaborative engineering. He has two years experience as a machinist with a small job shop and three years as a Manufacturing Engineer with The Boeing Company.
Morse, Julia
Julia Morse is an Assistant Professor in the Industrial Systems Technology Department within the University of Nebraska-Lincoln College of Engineering and Technology at The Peter Kiewit Institute of Information Science, Technology and Engineering in Omaha, Nebraska. She teaches lecture and laboratory courses in the areas of computer-aided manufacturing and automation for Manufacturing Engineering Technology and Industrial Technology undergraduate programs. Ms. Morse earned a B.S.I.E. from the University of Tennessee-Knoxville and an M.S. in Manufacturing Systems Engineering from Auburn University, where she also worked with Auburn Industrial Extension Service. Her work in industry includes engineering experience in quality control, industrial engineering, and design and development functions for automotive parts manufacturers in North Carolina and Germany.
Polonskii, Mikhail M.
Mikhail M. Polonskii was born in Stavropol, Russia, on 3 de October, 1956. He received the M.Sc. degree from the High Technical School named after Baumann of Moscow in 1978, and the Ph. D. degree from the State University of Technology (STANKIN), Moscow, in 1992. At present he is Adjunct Professor at Electrical Engineering Department of Universidade de Passo Fundo, Brazil. His research interests include Mechatronics, Engineering Education and Music Visualization.
